NO sbds of 95 Oakland run but this excerpt :-(
I don't understand. And I'm not dissing AUDs, but for my 1995 analysis / "best of" project, it sure would be nice if there were a soundboard for each show just like there is for every other year. What is wrong with 1995 that this is the case? And after all this time? I don't really understand. I imagine this one exists because David Gans played the excerpt of this on his Grateful Dead Hour show? I could be wrong tho. I think there's a similar such short segment of one of the Seattle shows and it has about the best sound quality of any soundboard from this time period I've ever heard, but it's just the pre-drums sequence. Anyways, once I've reviewed all the 95 shows that have soundboards I'll come back to the others.
As for this, these are excellent sounding versions of the two and a half songs presented here. The playing is really good and the sound quality is excellent. One more Saturday night starts off so awesome but then it just ends right in the middle. Oh well, obviously we know the soundboards exist for these shows but I guess they're just not going to get put up on the archive for some reason. Please, I'm begging The Keeper of the Vault, leak these boards!! It's not like Rhino or anybody else is going to officially release those 95 shows let's be honest. Or if they are then let's go ahead and do it and I would buy them!
