Subject: I gotta agree
snydel may have been a bit blunt but i have to agree somebody should a put that dog out of its misery. I believe it was david gans who said "the best thing about a dead concert in 90's was the drum solos". As a vet. of numerous shows in the 70's, I witnessed the slow decline of the band in the earley 80's, ending with Garcia playing a different tune than the rest of the band. I tried a couple a show in the resurgent late 80's. The band was playing alittle better, but the scene was miserable. I got soaked with beer, burned with cigarettes, puked on and deafend by close range fireworks, while adolesent asswipes screamed touch of gray into wet, burned, puke encrusted, deafend ears. You can't go back! But if this sad facsmile of a grateful dead concert floats your enjoy.

p.s. 1 star for the drum solo!

Subject: DarkStar1972; Sydney
DarkStar1972, Get a grip.
Sidney, open minds hear the music; stop listening to what your buddies tell you. The formative years were excellent; can't hear without them, but if you missed out on the 21 shows of spring, 2009 you missed a mind-blowing run. Seriously. Substitute, please, strong vocals and absolutely powerful guitar and it's the most impactful Dead you've ever heard. It's so different and so good it will transform your appreciation for the Music.

Subject: syndel ur an idiot
when i listen to the dead i take what i can from it i dont bicker or argue or complain but most importantly i dont pick apart what they did or didnt play. Syndel who r u to say what is or isnt good, sure ur entitled to ur own opinion but to say that like thirteen years worth of music is garbage ur an idiot.

Just to let person who downloaded this show know, at some point the tracks get messed up and fall two ahead of what they say they are.

Subject: c'mon folks....don't kid yourselves....
if you want to hear the Grateful Dead at their best ya gotta listen to 1966 through 1980 (1982 at the very latest). Any new listeners reading this post take my advice. You won't be disappointed. Nobody likes to hear that the years they saw the Dead in-person sucked but the reality is post-1982 Grateful Dead is nowheres near pre-1982.
