"it's Sunday, it's been a long, weird weekend!" - Jerry
Jerry: "WE have to remember it's Sunday night. It's been a long, weird weekend." HA! I'll bet!
They sound like it's been a long, weird weekend; they're not in great shape! The Friday night show is great, the Saturday night show has a good "Dark Star"....this one isn't so hot! It's a good mood show, though, they're obviously having fun! The best parts are the in-between show banter.

Sunday show added...
deadlists.com:
"The poster for this weekend's shows at Winterland reads "2 days only - Fri+Sat Oct. 24+25." The Sunday show must have been added later -- not unusual at BGP in those days.
Jerry addresses the chorus of Dire Wolf to the "Zodiac killer."
The Dead opened for the Airplane at this show, as on Friday (the Airplane opened Saturday). A 100-minute SBD tape of the complete Jefferson Airplane set circulates ; it contains: Good Shepherd ; Wild Thyme ; Greasy Heart ; We Can Be Together ; Come Back Baby ; Martha ; Plastic Fantastic Lover ; Drifting ; It's No Secret ; The Other Side Of This Life ; Wooden Ships ; Eskimo Blue Day ; You Wear Your Dresses Too Short ; The Ballad Of You Me & Pooneil."

Was this show at Winterland?
I was at the concert on the 24th and still have the handbill. The dates listed are for the 24th and 25 ONLY. Is there more information about this show? If you want to see the handbill, go here:

Easy Wind not played on this date. Opening(?) instrumental not noted in Deadbase. Good sound. Partial show.
