Pig might be a little Buzzed
Nice show, good Cryptical, great Black Peter, but man, listen to Pig mess up the lyrics during Hard To Handle.
Not that it hurts anything, and Pig handles the Good Lovin well, just an observation. Nothing better than 1970, Jack.

Dire Wolf
There's a cut just before this tune and Jerry says "This is 1970 Jack, not '56." It sounds like this might have been directed at Pigpen who appears to be singing lyrics to a 50's tune just off mic. Something like "gonna find her." This causes Jerry to delay the vocals. Pretty funny.

Aloha kâkou!
Not an epic Dark Star, but this setlist is more like '69 and everything is high-energy and very well played. Black Peter is dynamite as is H2H, Pig is in top form. Some groovy jamming, and a phenomenal Lovelight! These Hawaii shows must have been pretty fun. Goodbear sound is excellent! (99 pts) Mahalo â nui.

Thankful for gdlive
The SBD is still available at
gdlive.com. the sound is excellent. Great versions of some of the same 'ole songs. Starts with a really good China Cat - listen to those cow bells and Pigpen's organ - Jerry just wails away. The rest is on the same level. No five stars for nothing - Get it!

ham and pineapple please!
If I were a pizza delivery guy this show would be useless as a hawaiian goes. simply because it is not downloadable to listen to during deliveries, The people at Dole are crying from the loss of sbd downloads....and so are we.

mmm...it's always a pleasure to stumble across kind nuggets like this show. ...yum yum...
I am honored to be the first to post a review of this show. Either this is a nice little "i'm-agonna drop this in here real quitely without anyone noticing," by Mr. Aizen type treat. Regardless... Whoa, dude! What a show... Muchas Garcias! ...mmm Hawaiin nights...
