This one has been fabricated from before this archive existed. Its a real show, but only that piece circulated when it was copied from the Master cassette circa 1976.
Its from June 24,1970 Early show Acoustic Set @ Capitol Theatre in Portchester, N.Y.
This is from the same night as the Famed Dark Star jam.
this is from the opening set of that night.

Brief, incomplete, incoherent, inauthentic, and inconsistent...
And if you can't love any of those things, you can't love the Grateful Dead.
For the sake of those looking for professionally good music, I have to rate this a 3.

These songs are all actually from Ken Lee's recording of 6/24/70. Nothing circulates from 8/17/70.
However, there is a post here discussing the actual setlist for this evening:

The Let Me In 83968 is definitely from 70-06-24, from the licks during the instrumental to the guy in the crowd at the beginning. They didn't play Friend of the Devil during that show, so I guess the last two songs are from (an) other show(s).

AUD tapes from this time period are rare and poor. This is listenable. It has a bit of ambiance too.
I have never heard that first track before.

After the carosuel ballroom closed, bill graham bought it and moved the fillmore auditorium there because the neighborhood around the original was getting worse. he renamed it fillmore west since he had already opened the fillmore east!

There was no such thing as "The Fillmore West". There was "The Fillmore" and "The Fillmore East". It's like referring to "Old Jersey".

A couple of rare songs from the fillmore. Well played, heartfelt, sounds good to me. Wish there was more.
