Subject: Great concert
I went to this concert and it was terrific! The Jai-Alai Fronton was a great place to see the Dead perform, sat in the 3rd row center stage and I think the tickets were about $20.00

Subject: Great Concert
I went to this concert in 74 and it was awesome! Not sure how 33 years have passed? The Miami Jai-Alai Fronton had great acoustics and I was hooked on the band forever! Miss hearing more of their music today!

...my heart and mind and soul was absolutely blown away to the point of tears by what must be the best version of Greatest Story ever told I've ever heard...Donna at her best, Jerry on fire, Phil killing it with a hypnotic baseline. My expectations were so low but I was simply amazed by this show. There's something magic about the acoustics in the Jai-Alai Fronton that amplifies the crowd voices between songs and makes the venue feel really small. You can hear so much. Great Bertha, killer Deal. It all rocks. I was not expecting this to be so good. My new favorite show. Get it. Love it. Live it.

Both the Audience and the Soundboard are available from The Owen Brothers Vault.
This was a nice SBD recording with only minor issues. Most tunings were cut. These were patched from the AUD source where available. A light Continuous Noise filter was used to minimize tape hiss. The sound was a bit flat so equalization was used to bring up the top and bottom ends a bit. Other specific issues corrected: The old SBD patch in Playin' was cleaned up and adjusted to better match the rest. Mix was bad on Promised Land on both SBD and AUD - couldn't fix that! All AUD patches were matched up as well as possible through EQ, Noise reduction and gain adjustments. Misc. loud handclaps, pops and other anomalies were corrected. All editing done with Diamond Cut DC6 software.
