Dark Star again...
I too, saw DSO play this 30th anniversary show at Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee, great show. Saw the Dead around this time and the band was hot when it hit St. Louis. They took this Let It Grow and Scarlet>Fire over the top. Great show.

I love aud.'s like this!
I agree with jgrady that this is one great sounding audience recording. I'm listening to a blistering "Let it Grow" and there's this ebb and flow, where right now Jerry's guitar is circulating around the theatre in that ambiotic way, but all of a sudden he steps back and Phil is loudest, now it's the drums, and now a low smouldering Jerry solo is building in unison with Phil and here it comes. . . not yet! Bobby fills in with some predominant rhythm, but now it's Jer again with the drums this time. Amazing! It's organic, and. . . WOW Jerry's going nuts and everybody had better keep up! All this is complimented by a very respectful crowd, who know when to cheer after a solo and, more importantly, when to stop talking and listen. Fantastic!

hot show, not hot sound
I diagree with the review below -- the sound is listenable but nothing to get excited about. There are better AUDs out there. Supposedly set 2 is part SBD, but the Scarlet-Fire doesn't seem like it.
Still it is a hot performance!

nice
just heard the end of the first set of this show on Dead Hour. smokin' TLEO, followed by a fantastic Let it Grow with some amazing soloing/vamping by Jerry toward the end. wow. says the first set is mostly AUD, but the sound on these two songs, at least, sounds superb.
