this is a smokin' show with great sound.auds don't get no better than this imo. super-grab it! top notch aud. 5 for sound& perfomance.

Subject: very good
this is an excellent show with very good sound. good aud for sure. estimated>eyes is killer, with (for my $.02) emphasis on the jamming eyes. Morning Dew is very nice. If you don't have this...better get it.

Subject: SCHWEEEEEET AUD PULL!!
Jerry X-Mas everytone! I've heard this show a bunch of times, however just before X-mas I decided to download this gem. Very, very nice AUD recording for the time. Being a taper myself I was very impressed on the sound quality of this AUD given the stated rig that was run. Was never a huge fan of SONY mics however HOLY SHIT BATMAN!! These boyz were in the ZONE!! Not to mention the band was on fire. Frost Amp....what can a devoted Dead Head say or do?? Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile. This show STILL gives me goose bumps! ;-) Peace on earth & happy new year! Leftover Sammy

Subject: Again, the AUD knocks the socks off the SBD
I'm not one of those "make lemonade from lemons" AUD lovers - a mike source has to earn my respect, and this one does it, hands down. Way to go, Rango!

Subject: A good one...
This is one of the best audience recordings I have heard. It is crisp and clear. One thing worth noting--Bobby's guitar is front and center throughout this entire recording. Check out TMNS. You decide if this is a good or bad thing.

Nice show and nice Aud recording. This is a classic standford show. There's a couple of good ones on this site regarding this venue but I just love this show. If you like shows from 82 and a killler 2nd set with Stones>Touch>Estimated>Eyes this one is for you. I give this a 5 for the sound and for the incredible jaming on Estimated.

When you have friends like this? I say you slide on over here and DL this good time. I like to tak e all my frequencies and put them in a jar and shake 'em up. Try it. You might like it.

Subject: Lacks drums.
Listening to these audience recordings of "Alabama" and "Touch of Gray" a few times, I had to definitely adjust the sliders on the player equalizer to even hear any drums. This is the only weak point though. You should slide up every frequency to almost max, except for the 600, 12k, 14k (leave them in the center settings.) This tames the high hat cymbals and brings out some drums. Great performance though!

This is truely an incredible show. The audience version is the best. The jam in the middle of the estimated is the best ever, and the dew just blows you away. Five stars.

Where is the Rango Aud of the 10th? Cmon J. Jonah Jameson you'll have to ask Spidey about that one. Really never checked out the ninth...lookin foward to the perky aud.

Ok, you can't go wrong with this one. If Phil had just a little bit more definition this would be an A recording, but that's very minor. This is Rango's AUD I believe, and he did a fine job. The balance is really nice, very clear. The 1st set is excellent! Really great Alabama>Greatest opener. It's always refreshing to hear such a uniformly stellar 1st set, and it's nice and long. You think it's ending with Music and then Jerry kicks into a rousing Deal. A beautiful, lazy October evening with the Dead at Frost. Solid 2nd set, no appreciable letdown. Somebody yells to Jerry let's see if you can remember the words when he plays the opening riff of U.S. Blues, and darn if he doesn't remember all of them!
