My only trip to S. Carolina!
I had never seen it rain as much as it did.
Hurricane whatever broke up over Florida and headed north along the East coast.
Wow, and everybody was really dosed heavily...
Or was it just me. One of the more stranger shows that I had seen. I love the LLRain with all the echos. Overall a really good weird show!

I did not listen to this but pass along the following report from a patron named Bob: "after spending many hours listening to and watching the wav forms along w/ the oade master pcm this is identical and just an inferior transfer of likely higher gen w/ one very major flaw in the left channel, don't recall the position. but anyways, it's the Oade bros recording." Also, "speed is off from the master .1% after speed correcting +.1% synched perfectly to the oade master. identical in sound and waveform, no way this is from another rig."

This was my first encounter with the Dead, and the beginning of the rest of my life. At the time, the intensity of everything was just too much, I could not appreciate the music. But when I got the show on tape I was almost dissapointed that my mindframe did not allow me to fully appreciate this show. Awesome shakedown, werewolves was off the chain!

"Thank you and good evening music lovers."
The only visit ever to South Carolina.
Funny how the Finnicula gets no mention here. It's really a space>fin>space>Werewolves lol. Awesome for Halloween.
I have never seen a board of this show. The analog copy I had (SetI) was 5th gen aud so it had plenty of hiss.
But I thought this was the best version of Werewolves that the Grateful Dead ever performed.
A great first set. Show loses intensity in Set II.
Wow, I thought that since no one had reviewed this source, I would give it a look see.
Pretty good source here. Audiophiles will give it a 3.
