Tour came up from South Carolina. We crossed some state line and there were fireworks stores everywhere. Heads were loading up for big game. During the show there were enough bottle rockets going off that Bobby stopped to take an audience vote. Apparently the vote was clear enough for him to declare "I think we have a mandate"

I think it sounds pretty cool...

I usually say "anything is better than nothing" as far as having an available soundboard bootleg of a show but, I agree with mom. This has to be one of the worst uses of noise reduction I have ever heard. Making it NOT crispy. The first and second sets are out of tune with each other as well. A common problem with cassette gens. I appreciate some of the things people do to try to make listening more enjoyable. I think after all these years though, we all have our own equipment to make things better to suit our own taste. This might have been a three or four star recording originally, first generation. Maybe some day someone will post a better board with a better lineage.

That being said, this is a sub par performace for the boys in 1985. It has it's moments but, bad song transitions. A lot of them.

Two stars because it used to be a soundboard, could have been four!

This recording of a lovely show isn't something that the seasoned, jaded critic is going to jump off the second level of the Coliseum for to grab a copy of. Nevertheless, I think it has a cool drippy, dropply sound that is quite entertaining and reminiscent of the way some of our ears caught the music as we spun in the halls. Perfection is relative, tastes vary, but I would be ever so weary of the words"never should be circulated." I let it circulate in my cells and they quite enjoyed it. (Matthew 7:1)

Subject: High Time
Four things i remember:

1)The little jazz band in the mall next door playing Friend of the Devil (no lyrics)

2) getting into the show with a never used ticket from hampton, a very kind security guard!

3) The "High Time" was beyond insane.

4) Taking a leak on the FBI building!

I remember leaving the coliseum with ringing ears...It was great. I was very happy to buy Dicks picks. Wish they would release more 1985 Dicks picks. Ripping Good Time... Thanks!!!

It is NO exaggeration to say that this is the WORST job of noise reduction EVER! There are definitely better soundboard sources for this show out there, because I've heard them on cassette. This source should not be circulated!
