Subject: wow
my first REAL Grateful Dead Parking Lot Scene. This was crazy, we camped right there outside Rich Stadium for 3 days...... it was awesome and so was the music

Subject: Boring show.....
The playing matched the setlist, lame and uninspired. Buffalo usually brings out the best in the boys (77, 79, 81, 89, 90) today was not one of them. Skip this one.

Subject: last great show of my life
I remember this show sounding better than it does here, but I guess "you had to be there"...there sure were a lot more crashers and general non-fans that just came for the party, but the vibe was mostly positive and high. I was with my then girlfriend, now wife, and we were young and in love and that made everything sweeter. She wasn't a big fan herself and I got a kick out of showing her everything and getting her into the experience. Maybe not the best show ever, but I'd spent too much time in the 80's wishing that I'd seen the band in the 60's and 70's...this night I was just ready to enjoy things for what they were.

Subject: disappointing sound quality
I was there-great show great time, great set list-this is a poor recording though.
Don't get me wrong, I love that someone has posted it up here-but the sound quality is POOR. I can't imagine it was soundboard, sounds more like 8-track from a 72 impala. Thin, wavey, lots of crowd noise

Subject: Hit-or-miss, with several nice nuggets
This was my first show, so I have fond memories. First set is solid (aud sound improves along with the band), with Masterpiece, Ramble On Rose & Let It Grow the clear highlights. Second set is a little tepid, but features an interesting Other One that actually starts with a Spanish Jam intro. Holds its own in this generally so-so year of Dead.
