So....yeah the show was good, not great nothing musically to say this is a top whatever....but there was always more to a show than just the music. Phil has often talked about the connection with the band and the heads....well that happened this night for sure. I remember hearing the 1st notes of so many roads and a huge smile broke out on my face....And I was drawn back into the darkness from the hallway. This was seriously the most magical experience I ever had at a show. I must have been radiating love for Jerry and the music because no less than 5 brothers and sisters grabbed me and hugged me in those few moments all with smiles as big as mine. In that moment we were all at the same place, we were all connected...this was truly the magic that we all lived for and is what kept us going to the next show. And listening to this again for the 1st time in 24 years I can still feel it and I still miss the fat man.

Only Midnight Hour of the tour, I'm not aware of them playing So Many Roads in 1st set at any other shows, nice featuring of newer songs- Eternity, liberty, Broken Arrow, Baba Olatinji and Sikiru Adepoju played with Mickey during drums (Billy sat out part way through), Nice show!

Yes, I believe he and an assistant sat in during drums. Hot first set with killer midnight hour>Sugaree. Spacy second set, typical good show for the time period. Things got weird with emergence of Olatungi & friend. No introduction so very surreal feeling for those in the enhanced state. Plenty of energy at end of show which was rare in the 90s. All in all, a pretty decent set for the time period and worthwile download definitely.
