I would have enjoyed this show much more if the crowd hadn't sung along so much, and if there were fewer forgettable, disposable songs. We were under the tent and they started into "Broken Arrow" and this guy in front of me yells out "THIS SONG SUCKS!" Only one verse of Dark Star. Forgotten lyrics in Terrapin. I was so disappointed after the night before.

Maybe John Lennon really didn't write Lucy about LSD, but it doesn't matter; everyone else thinks he did.
I remember a warm peaceful day. Sitting next to my car, seeing peoples' legs melt into each other. The show was good, but almost sad. Sometimes those 90's shows seemed to hold a certain saddness as everyone waited for the shoe to drop, and the band forced to break for a while. Little did I know this would be the same site of the '95 CNN deadheads rampage that would signal the end of so much.
The first set was rather short. Easy answers, lazy river road and broken arrow were my favorites from memory. The second set had nice versions of Way to go home and Terrapin. The Dark Star never really found its way, but the LSD encore was extra cool.
The sound is only okay. 4 stars for the memories.
A beautiful night with great people; thank you everybody.

Garcia shreds in the Terrapin jam. Just blistering licks. Garcia could shred with any "guitar hero" if he had wanted to. Fortunately for all of us he did what he did instead. But once in awhile, it was almost like he would make these statements like "I can hang with any hot shot in the world. Have a bit of this!"
This jam in particular was a phenomenal performance by all involved.

havent listened to anything but terrapin on. Jerry just rips, this is one of the coolest dark stars i have heard. Seems to flow real well, especially given that its 1993

the liner notes on the master DAT tape case said "cardioid".
hard to tell though. lots of shed in the recording, but it sounds great.
