Subject: Grateful Dead Live at Madison Square Garden on 1994-10-19
Nice sound, thanks.
2 cents: I remember this show. Stella Blue with Jer going off at the end transcending with the boys sounding like an electronic orchestra reaching deep into the depths and rising into pure white blue stellar light then bringing it down with that cool hawaiian? sound Jer started doing in the late nineties which turns into one of the most perfect lead-ins into> Sugar Mags that builds into a rocking crescendo spiraling like an out of control skeletal carousel (ladies and gentlemen, all aboard!) whirling into space just before the break before the SSDD ending...
Ah, the memories. Not an incredible show in whole, but a very good one with the SB>SM being spectacular.

Subject: very good quality
this is pretty damn good audience copy. considering the lineage (if accurate), there appears to be no external preamp. the 4011's are incredible mics. very nice and crisp sound.

Subject: Good Show for '94, Quality of Recording not great
Pretty cool to hear Bobby playing acoustic on El Paso. Sound Quality isn't great on this recording. You can definitely hear the crowd. People asking for lighters, talking about the show the night before, singing along. Hey, it's basically like sitting the audience but if you are looking to hear only the music rather then what was going on around the guy who recorded this show, then this is not for you.
