Subject: Drunk and Disorderly
I bet it was probably hard getting a good recording from a show aboard a boat. Still it gives the feeling one gets from going to see GH live. The show and the recording are rowdy and chaotic, but this is definitely some good timin' music.
The band performed on the bow of a thirty seven foot sailboat during a race on Lake Union in Seattle called the Duck Dodge.
Yusuf was hauled up the mast in a bosun's chair to play the first song of the raftup set.
The stop button on the recorder was inadvertently pressed by some drunk (possibly me) so 6:47 is missing between the end of Disc 1 track 8 and the beginning of Disc 2 track 1. It appears to only be two or three verses of Memphis Blues plus some talking before it.
