the second set is among the best music i have ever listened to. no shit. there are some rough spots here and there, but the band absolutely leaves the world. i wish i was there! it may of very well been one of those "...oh shit man, i think i'm having a heart attack," "...so stop dancin' stupid!"

Gets 4 stars only because the first set is a bit flat in comparison to their two earlier shows available here. Their masterful groove starts with "Full Clarity" and, by "Keep On Pushin'," they're cookin' with gas. What's amazing is the variety of ideas this group keeps presenting.

The band had a iffy mic cable on the first track, and the vocals and sound clear up halfway into that first track.
The big jam in Mr Potatohead is enough to make these discs a keeper alone. The Sabbath, Steely Dan, Doors and Gary Numan covers are a nice touch, and perhaps the most covers I've ever seen in a Global Funk Set.
