Subject: Good surprise
I never heard this guy before but he's very fantastic. Sound quality is excellent, the venue is small and receiving and the crowd is careful. Walk on the ocean is one of most beautiful songs that i've heard. Downloaded it, don't miss it, Glen is a talent. Thanks Lma in order to have introduced to me this beautiful show.

Subject: Yes, It's THAT good!
Like others...I was like, who's this Glen Phillips gettin' more views than 5 star Dead shows? Well, for anyone who likes live acoustic music, just stop reading and download this show! Breathtaking recording quality. Like a front row seat without the cigarette smoke. For diehard Toad fans, and there are more than a few out there, apparently, this is nirvanna, I guess.

Subject: WOW
This guy is awesome. Even though they screw around alot in "Walk on the Ocean," it still an awesome song. Is that Levi or Glen singing? I've never heard of this guy until I saw this show was so popular-now I see why. Hes like a hipper James Taylor with a more exciting voice. Also-UNBELEIVABLE sound quality! Could be a professional recording.

This is a wonderful find... As an old TTWS fan, I have to say this is one of the most awesome shows I've heard. Top notch sound quality.

I never heard of this guy until I discovered this archive - and frankly, his music has blown me away. It's incredible that this guy isn't better known. He has the heart of a true poet and I will certainly be looking for his CD's in the shops or across the 'Net. I've rediscovered my love for music through this mans genius.

The sound quality of the recording is also top notch - it seems way better than VBR MP3 has the right to be. Thanks to whoever recorded it and put it here - and thanks to Glen for doing what he is good at.

Worth the download for sure. Glen is one of my favorite singer/songwriters out there. A+

Subject: CD Breaks
Personally, I do not feel the need to split up the recordings in to two groups. It is the personal preference of the person burning the CD to use 74 or 80 min CDs; to split with the majority on the first disc or to split evenly. Since there are no fades it is really up to the person burning and doesn't require any more effort than (aside from a decision) then if I picked some arbitrary point to split the discs.

With the advent of DVD-Audio discs more people will eventually be burning complete shows in the future so tracking to a format that will be obsolete in some years doesn't make sense to me for an "archive" which will out live those formats.

**off soapbox now**

peace, chris

Subject: Where is the CD break?
I've heard bits of this show, and it sounds pretty nice from what I've heard.

However, I'm wanting to burn it to CD and I'm not exactly sure where this point is.

Taper: In future, please make it more obvious by naming your files with the d#t## convention. This makes it easier when burning to know where to break up the show.

Thanks!

I have never heard Glen before and think this is an excellent introduction. The quality of the recording in wonderful and the lyrical poetry of Glen should be attempted by more artist today. Thanks to everyone at Live Music Archive to put this kind of music and the publics fingertips.
Thanks,
Robert

Subject: Pretty good
Sound Quality: 5 of 5 stars. Should be 6 of 5 stars. The taper did an awesome job (as he always does with all his shows). The sound is so good, this could be an official produced live show.

Show Quality: 3 of 5 stars. I was just not too into it. I have seen Glen live once, when he opened for Jack Johnson @ USD's Jenny Craig pavilion, and remember it being a fun show, but this show is kinda just 50/50 of 'blah' and 'this is a cool song'. Some songs are just mundane, but some are really kick-in and fun. I do dig Glen's socialy active attitude he has, and i'm sure a lot of people really are into him, since this show has both high download rates, and high batting average, so power to the people! Thanks for putting Glen on the archive.

Subject: Holy Cow!!!!
Well, it's hard to teach and old deadhead new tricks; this was my first Glen Phillips download, and I am really impressed! I had never even heard of him before but this show is amazing.

First, the sound quality is perfect; honestly I've never heard a non-offical release sound this great (and I've got enough XL-IIs to supply a third world nation). Soundstage, image, levels, tone, everything perfect. After listening to the show I visited the artists website and found he even used a track from this tapers recording of this show on his main page, it's that damn good.

Glen himself is a outstanding musician. Lyrically his songs strike a nerve deep in my emotional psyche.

What I'm saying is, GET THIS SHOW. Now off to d/l some more.

Rob
