EXCELLENT Experience and Recording!
First time to FloydFest and the fourth time I have enjoyed Grace Potter. WOW!! Both were AMAZING!! What a great setting and small venue experience, regardless of the APCO power issue. It will be an annual event for me in the future!
As for Grace and the new NOCS, I almost did not recognize her in that little dress until she filled the crisp, late night air, as well as my head and heart, with that incredible soulful, sexy sound she sings so well!! It was not the cool temp that gave me chills and made the hair stand on the back of my neck!! What a wonderful voice, gifted musician and mature performer!!
Given the late start, many thanks to GPN for doing a full show! You can never have enough Grace, so "page" I thank you for sharing this recording with us!! Well Done!!

A great performance by Grace
I have seen Grace a few times now and she was at her best this night. She was the biggest highlight of FloydFest for 2009. If you haven't been to FloydFest, it is one the best smaller festival out there. If you're tired of the big festivals, go to Floydfest.

Powered Up Floyd Show
After a two hour site wide power outage - hats off to the Floyd Fest crew for getting the issue fixed - the crowd was amped up for blow-out Friday night Main Stage set.
Grace promised us a "great Mother F&*%^ng" show at the beginning of "Joey" and damn, did she deliver.
They decided to peel our eyebrows off with "Some Kind of Ride", more than a hint of the ride they were gonna take us on for the next two hours.
Great set - "Big White Gate" was huge, slide guitar on "Toothbrush" was slick. "Come Into My Kitchen" and "If I Was In Paris" were highlights. Nice work by the crowd on backing vocals on "Paris".
Oh but it wasn't over - I was hobbling around in a leg brace so I cut out a bit early to shuffle off to catch Nathan Williams and the Zydeco Cha Chas. I was all the way down at the Pink Floyd Garden Stage when you could hear the strains of "White Rabbit" booming down the main field - you could hear Grace all over the entire site!! Never in 7 Floyd Fests have I been able to hear the Dreaming Creek Main Stage site wide - while other bands were playing their stage.
A perfect Friday night set. Easy 5 star set and 5 star aud recording.
Sweet aud recording too - nice work page. (I was the gimp sitting a couple of seat down from you trying to keep the drunks off your rig)
