Subject: Quite Good
This has long been one of my favorite Giant Sand recordings. It is, as the title suggests, studio quality and the peformances are very tight, energetic, impassioned, and many other Giant Sand-ish descriptive words. Very good.

Subject: good
While being familiar with sister bands Calexico and Friends of Dean Martinez (FODM), this download was my first experience with Giant Sand. If you're also new to Giant Sand, this recording sounds like the aforementioned bands but with more of a harsher alternative rock, straight forward and mainstream sound. With this show, you won't find the strangeness, eclectic and unusual arrangements of Calexico or FODM. If you like mellower and more psychedelic music like that of Calexico and FODM, check out Giant Sand's October 15th, 2004 show -it's by far the best that I've come across in the Internet Archive. That written, there is a good variety of music on this one, from slow rock to jazz and punk. A plus is that the sound quality is perfect.

Subject: Lucious Giant Sand recording
Some wonderful recordings of Giant Sand back in the early/middle of their work. I love it and am thankful to add the wonderful lossless files to my 20+ Giant Sand collection! Thanks!

Subject: Already a classic...
One of the most popular Giant Sand bootlegs from years back. Recorded as a demo for Atlantic records and later discovered in the Giant Sand archives and traded as part of the Sandman series. Tight performance and great recording!
