Every once in a while I just get bored, start searching for new music on the archive and today I did that and came across these guys. The name got me first. Gubment.
They got me good with And It Stoned Me and then I saw they played Yoshimi!? Musically, it def. has their own feel and I dig it, its cool, but the singing was too much at times. Very distracting from the music and not that good, either. If the guy who sang it reads this, no dissing on my part, just trying to make it more kick but, b/c thats what it is. I'd maybe just take the vocals down to an almost, not talk, really, but closer to a singing whisper, not so much inflection. Let the vocals be more of an accompaniment to the music.
But that's just me, man, and it's after 4 for me, so ya know.
I'd drink some beers and watch these guys, though.
