This is the first LP by G|M under the new band moniker "alienUplink." G|M has been creating music via computer since 1999, though originally it was a "mashup" project. This album includes several different ideas learned throughout the recording process. Using samples, drum beats, and synth lines, the music strikes an industrial nerve somewhere between music and beat poetry.
If you download all of the tracks and play them with minimal silence between them you'll soon discover everything melds together. The lyrics explore a variety of topics from the record industry (Sympathy) to religion and cults (Jim Jones) and to myself (Undying Rage) and how I used to perceive the world.
Those who have personally enjoyed this album (ranging from teens to people in their fifties!) have all said basically one thing: it's diverse.
