Hairy Larry and George recorded Hip Sexagenarians at live concerts in the Fall of 2007 and Spring of 2008. All songs are written by Hairy Larry except "The Best Dream I've Ever Had", written by George Hinds, and "Hesitation Blues" which is public domain, written by Billy Smythe, Scott Middleton, and Art Gillham and first published in 1915. This version is arranged by Hairy Larry who wrote some of the verses and pulled others from all over the Blues map.
Hairy Larry and George have been playing together for years at Blues Fest in The Mudcats. In the summer of 2007 they began performing as an acoustic duo. While Hairy Larry takes a break George performs solo on electric guitar and vocals.
