Subject: Important edition
This edition of Knox's History of the Reformation in Scotland has importance because it was the version to which Thomas M'Crie referred in his Life of John Knox. Thus page references in M'Crie's Knox to the History can now be followed up in this edition. See the footnote written by his grandson here:
