During the period of the American revolution and previous controversy, the "Annual register," London, published an admirable and quite impartial narrative of events, understood to have been written by Edmund Burke. "The history of the war in America" is one of a considerable number of histories of the revolution plagiarized from the "Annual register." cf. "Some pseudo-histories of the Amer. revolution," by O.
