Subject: Unexcusable forgetfulness about horses welfare
Subject: Unexcusable forgetfulness about horses welfare
In the period 1980-2000, thanks to the work of the German vet H. Strasser, then of the previos farrier J. Jackson, and many followers, the so-called "barefoot movement" was born and year after year its success increased - presently, perhaps many thousands of fellows and their horses are much happier, since they throwed away horseshoes and meny of them bits too.
But.... it's really incredible that a 1880 book already contained all the better about barefoot horse, a century before! Horses and roads is a necessary reading for any mindful horse owner, and is a precious document for any fellow of barefoot movement.
