DEMODEMO - Superelvis FAT Corruption

DEMO: LAZY SOUND PROJECT I : SUPERELVIS FAT CORRUPTION

Track List:
1.Medley
2.Serialization I
3.Serialization II (ACCELERATION)

This CD is 99% computer produced. This means that no human being HAS made any decision on the contents of the tracks, except adjust volume levels.

Provided that your computer is inspired enough, the recipe for a FAT CORRUPTION CD is as follows:
1. Decide to digitize all of your FORMER band's recorded stuff (multi-track, tapes, videos, etc).
2. Begin digitalizing all to a single FAT32 hard disk, not caring about doing backups.
3. The most difficult step: get your computer hanged, and reset it. If you're lucky, the hard disk will become apparently unreadable.
4. Put the hard disk into an external USB case and connect it to the computer again.
5. Don't fall into despair, and do some Google to find a recovery software. If you don't want to search, try TestDisk (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk).
6. Use that software to recover and copy all the files to another hard disk.
7. Check absolutely all the recovered files : you will probably find that some files are ok, and most of the audio files are converted to white noise files of the same duration than the original ones.
8. If you're lucky enough, you will find that your computer decided to do some production, picked fragments of audio files and arranged them together to create a new one.
9. Avoid any post-production or manipulation in order to respect your computer's creativity. Only adjust volume LEVELS and cut unnecessary (blank or white noise) space at the end of the files.
10. If you don't believe it, listen to what an old Pentium III computer did with SUPERELVIS stuff on this CD.

--------------------------------------------------------
DEMO was de facto founded in 2003 by Raimon Aymerich (Superelvis) when a track under this name was included in “Never Underestimate Human Stupidity” (Hazard Records CD031). But it was in 2009 when the project took shape as a factory in which the main purpose was to build effortless sound (or music) productions. This lead to the creation of the label LAZY SOUND PROJECTS to describe projects made with as less effort as possible, and in which it is more important the whys and hows than the contents themselves. That's the reason why 'Superelvis FAT corruption' came to light as the first release of DEMO.
