Subject: Bridgeman's Book of Anatomy is meant for Artists
This is one of the leading books for artists in understanding the anatomy of the human being. It emphasizes planes, light and dark and what lies underneath the skin. It is NOT for any scientific study at all. The proportions at time can be off and it doesn't go into great detail as to the exact purpose of muscles.

Subject: Anatomy Text
Very poor illustrations and reproduction. May be useful for an artist, but Gray's Anatomy is much better for the science student.
