Subject: Awesome stuff here
Yeah, both sets are great! Just don't play it in front of the young'uns - lot's of F bombs. Thanks to the taper / uploader. This kicks major butt!

Subject: One of the best live shows to download!!!
This is one of the best shows to download because the sound is so great. Its one of the best ones to hear after you burn it on the cd. pretty clear sound as you would in the the studio!!!

i was also at this show. awesome performance. me and my now wife and a few friends drove up from Savannah for this one. kick ass. i remember getting in a spout with my (soon to be) wife about thier being snow on the ground. "no way" i said.....i was wrong. i slipped in the snow that night, drunk as hell, trying to get a gig poster that III said he would autograph for me. (and he waited for me and signed it.) after the assjack set, he jumped right off the stage and started talkin to me and my wife. an outstanding person as well as preformer/songwriter. this show was kickass and thanks H.R. Miner for puttin it up here for us. see you on the III board. anyone who is new to this, GET THIS SHOW! it is awesome...and GO BUY STRAIGHT TO HELL NOW! it is worth every penny. SUPPORT TRUE COUNTRY OUTLAWS!

i was at this show. it was the first time i had the chance to see hank live. and all i can say is wow. it was an amazing show! and the best surprise was a little known and completely unknown to me artist named Scott H. Biram. but the whole show was great. hank came out and kicked ass. and scotts cover of SR.'s "lost highway" was the bomb! and besides all the great music the was the rarest of rare sites . all these people with 12 inch spiked hair and tattooed skulls looking like they belong at a misfits show (and yes i love the misfits so no offence intended) sitting there chanting for hank to sing cecil brown. and singing everword to all these slow sad cunt'ry songs was one hell of a sight to see! but there is some good music on here so check it out!!!

This guy is crazy. His country stuff is pretty good and harkens back to the redneck-hippy-outlaw country scene of the 70s. The songs are a little too driven and lacking some nuance but otherwise the kind off shit-kicking hillbilly I like in a smokey barroom. The metal stuff I can live without. As a drummer I sometimes marvel at the lightning foot speed of guys like Tim on drums but the death metal music has no soul(no pun intended). It's just technique and noise. This is a good recording. 4 for the country set up to Hellbilly beyond that.. metal fans only.

Some people don't like this guy. I have seen comments saying Hank III "is nothing but a country wanna be living off the fanily name". Dude can't change his name and he plays with the old outlaw style in the country sets unlike the pop country bs that comes down I65. I think he is true to his heart. Hell most people on music row hated Hank Sr. and Jr. so he is in good company. This is a good show and I would recommend it to friends and clergy members.

It was cold as hell inside the club, but the music was blistering that night.

Longtooth's matrix is my favorite recording from the Winter 2004 tour, including the 4 recordings I made myself. The mix is excellent, and the setlist is even better.

Michael Starr's fiddle solo in "Life Of Sin" really echos the notes left behind by Fiddleboy (R.I.P.).

If you're only interested in one show from early 2004, this is the show to get!
