This is the soundtrack to a dream. Close your eyes and let the music take you where it needs to go. The mood is tranquil, but beware - there's a darkness hidden beneath the beauty. It will creep up behind you and send shivers down your spine. Relax, allow the ghostly melodies to caress you, to envelop you. Let go.

Notes

Sonores is three people: Elisabet, Viktor and Jonas. Elisabet does the vocals, Viktor handles the electronics and Jonas composes the music and plays most of the instruments. They also enlist the contributions of their many friends.

Sonores has been playing together for three years, but has never been all that active. Viktor and Jonas founded the band and added Elisabet when they decided they wanted a singer. After that, they took in Martin Holmgren on upright bass, but he later left the band citing lack of time. The group has only made one release previous to this - a three-song EP. "16th of June" is also on that release, but in a drastically different version. An older version of the song "Jonathan" was also featured on a compilation released by the label Monotoni, alongside other Swedish artists such as The Radio Dept., Differnet and Andreas Tilliander.

These three songs songs featured here will also appear on the band's upcoming full-length album, but with different mixes.

Elisbet S: lead vocals, drums
Jonas O: electric guitars, mellotron mark VI, hammond organ, logan string melody II, rhodes, percussion, acoustic guitar, slide guitar, echo machines
