ttk@archive.orgThird Annual Internet Archive Paper Airplane Contest, 2006-05-26 (May 26, 2006)
The third annual Internet Archive Paper Airplane Contest started 2:05pm on Friday May 26th, 2006. Each airplane was limited to a single sheet of 8.5"x11" paper, with no additional components (no paperclips, tape, spit, etc), and was thrown from the upper deck of The Archive HQ's back porch. There were four attributes on which airplanes were judged: by distance travelled, by hangtime, and by design. Awards were granted to those with the best distance, the best hangtime, and the best and worst designs. Participants could opt to enter two paper airplanes (and several did). Judges were Joerg, Paul, Braam, and TTK.
Pictures were taken, and whether they get inserted here (and how quickly) will be a testament to how easily we can use our own hosting infrastructure ;-)
