Subject: Dum de dum dum
Somewhat Dragnety episode of a guy with a family getting caught because of some loose ashes which caused a forest fire. I really liked the crime solving aspects of it.. doubtful the fire marshall would have the authority to do all that police work shown, but what do I know? Once the guy is caught, it turns somewhat preachy, the fire marshall comes this close to saying "Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires", curiously a lot had to do with cigarettes, which I suppose matches the period of the film.

Subject: Lots of Smoke
A 1940's film about causing forest fires. Effective for its time. Of course in those years more people smoked. Synchronization was off when I watched this film. Well written and photographed.
