WOW! This last reviewer has a hard on for bashing this band. Out of all these shows on the Archive, you've posted only two reviews, and both bash Izabella, and neither give a review of the actual show. Sounds like a player-hating ex-girlfriend or something. This is a great recording of a solid and fun show in beautiful Yosemite. Also, this show was recorded in April with only a few months of them playing together. What more can you ask for? I just saw these guys on Friday night in Sacramento, and they blew the roof off the place. This show is a good example of the range of music Izabella is able to tap into. Nuff said! DL & enjoy-

Subject: another mediocre show from a stellar group
It's hard for me to understand how this group of serious players continues to play these mediocre performances. This show, IMHO, leaves a lot to be desired.
I say this having seen this band and some of the other formations of this band various times here in the Bay Area. The guitar player is a monster and they have moments but it seems 'forced' a lot.
Now with the larger lineup, their sound is cloudy, or muddy. Sort of like New Monsoon's sound before their recent lineup changes.
I believe Izabella has a new album and I am sure they will try to tour big behind it. If they come to your town, check them out. Give them a listen. But I doubt they will get booked at any of the festivals this summer or any of the nicer venues. It seems these guys still have a lot to prove! They seem like nice guys and their sound guy f'ing rocks! I wish the the best.

Cool my first complete Izabella live show.
Second set really takes off.
