I've been checking out a lot JBB shows on here lately and I've got to say that this show is one of my favorites. The crowd energy is awesome and the musicianship is quality. The recording is also very clear.
I LOVE this Singers and Players, especially when they slide into a little "rub-a-dub" in the middle.
Well worth it! Thanks to the taper....

This is a really neat set. It's really special to hear Elliot perform some of Kevin's songs, although I'm not sure where Kevin was for this show. I believe this is around the time of the transition, but before the release of Pressure Points for which Elliot wrote most of the songs. Anyway, very cool to hear.

Some of the track names are incorrect:
Disc 1
8) Satisfaction Feeling

Disc 2
3) Isle of Springs
4) Singers and Players

Beautiful recording! Thanks for posting (probably ages ago)!

Feels like you are right there. The sound is very warm, clear, & crisp. heavy on the bass, which is appropriate for this style of music. The Band is really groovin, and I think the audience adds to the overall energy of this recording, rather than detracts. Download this one now!

CD 1 03 Words of the Prophets
CD 2 05 Dreadknot

Notes

Soldiers of Jah Army opened. Missing the last three or four songs.

I must have fat-fingered my MD unit after changing discs. Even though I was monitoring levels and everything seemed fine during recording of the second disc, it didn't end up recording properly. As I result, I missed the last 3 or 4 songs of the show, which is truly a shame because this was one hot show and the audience was totally into this performance. Even so, the hour and a half that are here are very nice, so I decided to put them up. Sorry for the glitch...believe me, it torques me too!
