Subject: top quality
Top quality recording and top quality show. I'm not that familiar with JBT yet, but I'll be checking out more of them after hearing this. Nice sounding recording, with some great playing.
Thank you archive!

Subject: Great quality JBT show!
crowd noise is just perfect: just distant enough to make you feel like you're there at the show. The instruments are all super clear and there.. lots of fun music and some fun jams in the songs, but i definately wouldn't call JBT a 'jam' band at all. A great long version of 'Betterman' with a great bass solo ... really nice long setlist too. 'Take' has a great intro, but the main song jam / solo pass-a-round isn't amazing .. i've heard better from the band. Treat your Momma and company sin sound amazing, so does Hello and Zebra. A great show, and there's a reason it has 24,000+ downloads! Also, thanks for allowing the mp3's / stream m3u's to be made.. it made my day listening to this at work today.

Subject: Great Show and great recording. Good job!
I'm bummed I missed this back in March last year. The sound is really good.. but of course there is always someone in the crowd that you would like to choke when they are standing there talking through a terrific performance like this! definetly a great download..

Subject: Great Show/Recording
I'm new to JBT, but have heard other live recordings (Living 2001-2002). IMO, some of the tracks from this show are better than that release. Betterman is a good example - slow to open up, but then it just cooks until it winds down, nice & easy. Crowd noise is right on this recording, you definitely feel like you're right there. Not SBD, but right there. Thanks for the great recording!

Subject: yo, this is fresh
WOW. the quality is soundboard. Very high energy, talented musicians who can really get down. Grab this one if you are new to the Trio. bc any trio fan would already have this. Dooties p.s. Butler can wail on the guitar.

Subject: Keraig???
Yep Rick (slotaper), your show is great! Excellent work!
Keraig: If you're talking about my Gold Coast 2004-05-27 recording: hey I know my mics aren't the greatest, & I can handle bad review on some of my few shows that are plagued with probs & not great sound... but I gotta defend the "clarity" issue you talked of about my recording, as far as the sound goes: its VERY clear & sharp!! & I know you'r entitled to you're opinion, but in my opinion you don't get much clearer than that unless its a SBD source! You can hear every little sound in the music & vocals! I just don't know where you're coming from with your statement!?? Have you heard the acutal show> jbt2004-05-27.flac ?
