Subject: Last show of the 2004 Sunrise Over Sea Regional Tour
Excellent gig! - the crowd was very cruisy & laid back, great bunch of people, & a very warm vibe since it was an All Ages show (no smoking or alcohol). The recording is quailty is excellent (imo), & spent 9 days processing & mastering this show. John threw in 'Take' before the encore (pee-break), which was decided on the spot. It was a sensational set: Old Man, Take, Betterman (extended), Sometimes... & 2 new songs!! Can't ask much more than that!

Subject: Best John Butler Concert
I think i've listened to almost every john butler trio concert online & i gotta say that this is the best one! Over two and a half hours of the best music i've ever heard. I discovered John when i was on holiday in Australia in the summer & went to see him in Manchester this year in November. He's the most talented musician ever & it's a shame that he didn't get more publicity whilst he was in England. But maybe he doesn't mind cos he just loves to play music for the fun of it and it seems that he's not concerned about the fame side, which is great to see. So glad that i went to Australia because otherwise i would never have discovered such an amazing talent.
