Hi, you guys...
I'm David, I'm the other bootlegger of this gig... my recording never made it on this site, I shared it as a mp3 recording on the official forum and on the French forum... you can find it here http://www.johnbutlertrio.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4035&highlight=#3963 (although I don't know how long it'll be available)... as a matter of fact, this gig was awesome as it sounds on this bootleg. The version that's been chosen for the CD is actually my recording, but that doesn't mean my recording is better... it sounds a little bit different. Anyways, thanks pal for sharing this bootleg with the rest of us.

Thanks for posting. What a great show. You can tell the crowd was really into it. This is the live version of Funky Tonight from the single right?
Notes: second to last show in France for the Fall European tour in a theater-like venue. John Butler plays solo on Ocean, and beginning of Peaches & Cream. Some chatterboxes can be heard during some quiet parts. The show can be splitted on two discs, tracks 1 to 9 on the first one, the remaining ones on the second one.
John Butler: lead vocals, banjo, acoustic guitars, lap steel
Michael Barker: drums, percussion
Shannon Birchall: double bass, electric bass, backing vocals
