Ditto what the other folks said about this show. Stellar quality! One note: either track 12 is missing or there is a mis-numbering of the tracks (I assume the latter is correct). Thanks for taping and sharing!

I really hate that I didn't mix John's set in a way but in a way I am glad I didn't. He and Sam Bush were about the only artists I didn't mix FOH for, except the bands early in the day. This was my chill and take a break time. So it was one of the few sets I actually could watch from an audience perspective. It was awesome then as is now; just wish my hands would have been on the faders for this talented man. If you are reading this you need to be downloading it.

Having listened to every Cowan show on the LMA, this is by far one of the best quality recordings you will find here.
The show itself, albeit unfortunately short was a unique Cowan show from the standpoint that it contained an extraordinary amount of jamming and less vocal acrobatics from John Cowan. Initially this did not bother me as I was very wrapped up in the show from a fan's perspective that night in Eden Valley.
As a reviewer listening to this impeccable recording I can say that there are stellar moments in this show.
One of which being "Going To California" and "Can't Find My Way Home". Both of these covers are delivered with precise vocal flare and remind me why John Cowan is one of my favorite vocalists of all time. When his voice hits the sweet notes in Eden Valley all you can do is smile. The tapers captured that here nicely.
My favorite vocals from this show are on "I hope ya think of me too". This is why I go see John Cowan. There was nowhere else I wanted to be when they hit this tune.
Cowan's backing band cooks. The banjo rolls, the fiddle flys, the guitar and Cowan's bass meld together to hold the whole stew together....and there are truely some beautiful instrumental moments.
Download the show and turn it up loud.
