Subject: So bad, it's terrible
This is, without a doubt, the absolute worst movie I've ever seen. It's so unbelievably bad I wish I could get a refund on the minutes of my life I squandered watching it. Zero stars for this turd on celluloid is actually overkill. If this were a just universe, it would give stars back!

There are so many genre crossovers that it seems like you've fallen asleep during one movie and awakened in another: the arrogant cowboy, monsters, eastern European mad scientists hiding out in Arizona. Couple this with a Steinbeck-like backdrop of the purity of peasants and a George-and-Lennie dynamic and the whole thing seems like a fever-dream.

Subject: Wacky western sci-fi
Fun for its over-the-top bits. Frankenstein's daughter has the requisite bad accent and crazy look in her eyes. The "science" is pretty funny, even for one who knows almost nothing about science. One wonders why Jesse James doesn't kill the female romantic lead. It's anyone's guess. Ridiculous plot. Cheesy acting. Silly, fairly amusing camp.

Subject: Worth the watch
I remember seeing movies with titles like this one has when I was a kid. They were were usually comedies and terrible, so I wasn't expecting much. However, this is a well written classic western tale with a twist. It's coherent with believable dialog, which is saying a lot. Can't say I think much of the directing or acting. It's a low budget production. The campy laboratory scenes are a hoot, but as a scientist I find all laboratory scenes in monster movies funny. Still, this movie is much better than Lady Frankenstein.

Remnants of the James gang, Jesse James and Hank Tracy, make their way to the southwest, probably Texas, to meet up with remnants of the hole in the wall gang to rob a stagecoach carrying $100,000. *cough* They are double crossed and ambushed, but Jesse and a wounded Hank get away and seek a doctor. A helpful young woman leads them to the home of Dr. Frankenstein's grandchildren where craziness ensues.

Jesse plays the antihero and peacefully surrenders to the local marshal at the end.

I downloaded the mpeg1 file. Video and audio are fine.
