This is some really good jazz, and my first introduction to JFJO. Sound quality is good.
I'm deducting half a star for low volume audio, and half a star for untagged files.
If you're looking for some quality jazz to chill too, I would still recommend this album, however. I'll definitely be looking into more of their stuff.

This was also my first exposure to Jfjo and now that I've downloaded a few other shows by the group this really stands out as a special night for them. They usually are heard as an electric band and this is a very high quality recording of them in an intimate acoustic setting. In my humble opinion Brian Haas has a real talent for the acoustic piano and Reed Mathis is also exceptionally talented at playing acoustic bass - would love to hear more! (so if you know of more acoustic shows...)
This is so good it prompted me to download the video from GrooveTV and burn my first VCD - Nice work there too. Seeing Brian Haas play is a wonder worth the download itself - he is a very energetic and passionate pianist.
If you love improvisational jazz, DONT MISS THIS!

Amazingly (or weirdly), this show, via GrooveTV's video was my very first exposure to the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey. This is such an amazing show and I am still watching the video over and over again. When I discovered the audio version was available I was like, whoa.. this is so cool.
Very, very good. Sound is superb, performance is out of this world, interaction is excellent. =)

This is a solid JFJO show in a spectacular jazz venue. JFJO's first Kuumbwa performance is enhanced by the baby grand piano. Wonderful stuff.
Be sure to check out the GrooveTV video filmed at this show.
