In 2003 these guys did a bunch of shows with long explorations and special guests - its cool here to find one where they play as many tight, shorter versions of new tunes, old tunes, and some standards. Here's a setlist - if anyone knows what to call tracks four or seven, i'd love to know, they are both really nice ones.
 Pacific
 Roustabout
 Seansong
 ??
 Hover
 Alone Together (Schwartz/Dietz)
 Improvisation?
Someday My Prince Will Come (Churchill/Morey)
 Prince of Darkness (Shorter)
 Jeff Lerner Intro
 Bright Size Life (Metheny)
 The TIme Is Now
 On Green Dolphin Street (Kaper/Washington)
 Epistrophe (Monk)
Muppet Babies Get Lost at the State Fair
 In A Sentimental Mood (Ellington)
 There Is No Method
 Good Energy Perpetuates Good Energy

I was at this show and it was a doozy. Great selection of jazz standards. Tracks 7 and 9 are jazz standards but I can't remember the names off the top of my head. Track 11 is actually Bright Size Life by Pat Metheny -- my favorite track in the set.

reed brian and jah smart take it back about 50 years in time and do 10-12 great old jazz charts, including Miles Davis's Someday my Prince Will Come from Cinderella. Absolutely beautiful, it's a must have for any Fred fan out there.
