Subject: Politics first, religion second!
When I was listening to JFK's acceptance speech for the Democratic candidate for president, one of the interesting remarks is how he wouldnt put God first in the Presidency. For this speech he expands on that remark, and it's really quite interesting how he set himself to lead office. I am not sure of this, but it sounded like JFK was under some pressure from religious leaders to be a Religious president. In the speech, JFK made sure that he wanted everyone to know that he put Politics first, Religion second. Something everyone, including, yes, George Bush should learn from.

Subject: A Source of Clarity and Inspiration
This speech of JFK serves to nspire us today, at time of "disdain and division" spawned by those who would apply religious tests to voters, political appointees and even American values. JFK notes that the identities of the Americans who fell at the Alamo are honored now by name - but not by their religions. He invites us to join him in professing "the kind of America" we believe in rather than "the kind of church" we believe in. May we rise to this challenge.
