I presented this piece at Field Effects 15.
http://www.quietamerican.org/fe15.html
The sound recordings were gathered over the month of October 2002, when I
walked in a circle around the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. The distance was
about 300 miles. It took about 30 days. Throughout the trip, I was
largely self-sufficient. I put myself on a budget of one dollar per mile.
This was more than enough to buy the food and first aid products that
I needed to complete the journey.

Subject: Brilliant!
And what a stroke of luck to catch a broadcast of Irmaos Visale's Brazil toward the end of your journey. It was fun listening, thanks.

Subject: wow, what a cool idea!
This is realy a pretty neat recording, a real slice of life type thing, but it has the serious downfall that there are no track marks ... but even so i give it 4 stars.
