Subject: Sound quality
Interesting to here a live J. Johnson show, but I agree with the people who say poor sound quality - heavy drum, can barely hear the guitar, and can hear the crowd way too much. Listen, but don't download unless you can't find anything better.

Subject: certainly not bad!
There is some crowd noise, but come on, it's a friggin' Jack Johnson show. A guitar, drum and Jack for most of the show, then Jack goes to an even stealthier mode with the acoustic guitar. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Taping outside at the Greek makes it even more difficult to record Jack, but this is not bad at all. I would listen a second time, probably a third, but that would be it due to the whiney yappy girls who are a serious buzz kill!!

Subject: Maybe I'm an idiot
Music is solid but the recording sound is sub-par for a show where taping is allowed with open miking. Maybe the room was hard to dial in I don't know.
Instrumentation is reasonably balanced but everything has a distant tunnel sound. Not a good enough recording to keep in the library but I enjoyed the music none the less.
Thanks for posting,
Dexter

Subject: Good Recording
That domi guy is an idiot. The sound quality is good. Jack, G.Love & Donavon put on a damn good show and I would recommend everyone download this show...

Subject: Worth The Download
If you like Jack this is definately worth the download. The sound is not to bad at all, and as previously mentioned the songs with Donavon, G.Love and Zach Gill are GREAT!! The new Jack tune Banana Pancakes is nice!

Subject: Sound quality
Isn't very good, too hard to hear, solid show, but not worth the download because the quality is so bad.

Subject: Great show!
This show has a couple of new songs. "Girl I want to lay you down" with Zac is a great tune! I went to the show in SB a couple of days later and he played the same song and the crowd went wild!

Subject: Good Show
I was at this show, and it was quite good. If you've heard any live Jack Johnson shows in the past there won't be too many surprises here, although I do really like the Banana Pancakes song and the collaborations with G. Love and Donavon.
In the first few songs the stage crew keeps messing with the placement of the kick drum mic, so it's really overwhelming. The sound quality issues seem to settle down as the concert goes on though. There are a few tracks with people talking too near the microphone, but it's not terribly distracting.
Thanks for posting such a great recording.

Subject: Setlist Edit
During Bubbletoes (D1T10) Jack throws in an "Express Yourself" tag. It is a Charles Wright & Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band tune.
Thanks for posting the show Kaya. It's been a while since we have heard any new Jack. The collaborations with G Love, Donavon, and Zach as well as the new song "Banana Pancakes" makes this a great download.
