Subject: Taper's review
Dock St IX was capped off by a very nice performance, and especially the annual finale of "Jump Little Children." This year's version included some very special performances from Amanda, Hew, Jay and pretty much the whole gang as usual.
Mic placement was in the rear of the theatre, but massive props to a respectful, quiet crowd. I boosted the Unknown Samba, because it simply wasn't audible at standard levels. In truth, it was hard to hear it that night at the show, but it was beautiful and melodic, so boosting was required to share it. Yes, that was me getting the shoutout from Matt about By the Way They Dance, which, borrowing the song for one afternoon from Jonathan Gray, my fiance and I will share our first married dance, to that song.
Dock Street shows are always special, and this one was a lot of fun, and I'm proud to have recorded it.
