Subject: John Mayer is a sell out hack! pt 2
OK, I'll give you that this recording is competent as far as AUD recordings go and it is a competent blues performance, but his vocals are wimpy & Kenny Wayne Shepherd could blow him away with both hands tied behind his back! Its a shame to see talented artists with good potential sell out to the almighty dollar...long live great bands like moe., Umphreys, Ratdog & the like!!

ellis, you really shouldn't give the show a low review because you think john mayer is a sell-out. The review should be for the quality of the show, I went into this thinking it was going to be shitty because you gave it a 1 but it's actually a really good recording soundwise. If you need to work out your PMS by venting about John Mayer then go do it on a forum, don't tarnish this recording because of your personal hatred.
kthxbi

Subject: Great live performance!
John plays "pop" to pay the bills and get chicks... but when you hear him play the blues, you can really tell where his love is.

Notes

*w/John Popper on harmonica, Ivan Neville on guitar, and Jim Kelter on drums,

Slight level adjustment at the beginning of "Everyday I Have The Blues"

Crowd was a bit a noisy, but alot worse during the opener's set.
