Subject: Great acoustic show
Mraz writes great songs that work with full band or just with a guitar. Great quality recording, thanks! Gonna see him tonight solo at the Atomic Cafe in Munich. My first Mraz show...

Subject: What a Songwriter should sound like
Jason Mraz is a amazing artist, with only a voice and guitar these songs have substance. I am the soundman from Lestat's that this show as many others our taped from and I feel that I'm the lucky one to hear so much amazing talent night after night here at Lestat's West.

Subject: What a great show to be at
I was there, front row that night about two years ago. Jon's recording sounds amazing and cleaner then mine (not uploaded). The songs were all very new and some had never been played live before and this show was their debut. This was also the first 'suprise' / secret show that Jason did at lestats. He'd end up doing a few more, but for this one there was a tingle in the air. not many people knew about it and there was an excitement of whether he would play or not ... The night was officially Anna Troy opening for Bushwalla. Jason played between the two of them. Bushwalla's set, as it was, was the first one after their 'hiatus' where Billy went to Europe and the band 'got tighter' and actually learned new songs and practiced. Jason's set was so clean and so strong, it was amazing. The new songs were great, and it was a really great night of amazing music. Subject: Great show..
This is a really good show, the songs are great, Love to hear all the new stuff, the audio is really good, though again, a bit low, but it's alright, though at high volume levels, it gets a little cracky, but it's all good, Mraz fans NEED to hear these new songs!

Subject: great new tunes
i'm the taper of on this little "secret show," and must say it was great. these tunes are very different and in a new sort of style for jason. oh, and about the volume being a little low, well, i think the quality of the tape makes up for it. i had the levels intentionally set low b/c i was about 6" from the speaker..

Subject: sweet new songs
This little sample of Jason's newest songs left me wanting to hear more. The crowd is quiet and respectful during songs so even though the volume is a little low the performance is quite audible. A must download for fans.
* With Gregory Page and Toca Rivera on background vocals
All songs Jason solo except for the final song.
Notes: Returning to San Diego Jason played a "surprise show" for about 100 people that were attending his friend Bushwalla's show. Jason took the stage before Bushwalla & the Ill Stars of Funk to play a set of all new songs (3 that had never been played before). Jason later joined Bushwalla & the Ill Stars of Funk for a few songs (Jesus Bo Beezus & Soul Train) in their set which is also available.
