Subject: Get With It Dude.....
I wasn't at this show but i was reading the reviews and i must say that if you don't have anything positive or constructive to say....why bother.

Toastcruncher -- the fact that you say: "Also, the drummers need to seriously step it up." leans me to think you haven't seen a lot of Darren Shearer or Joe Russo. I would have to say those two are some of the best drummers in the game right now.

The Join is something different.....but it's something to really enjoy and hold on to. Their improvisation and transition in jams is something that not a lot of bands can do these days.

Subject: Pretty Weak
The set started with everyone on stage looking confused and frustrated but not actually doing anything to solve the sound problems for about 20 min (seemed like an hour). When they finally started to play there didn't seem to be much focus or point to the jams. The inevitable mortar into the crowd was the most exciting thing that happened - somehow Brazilian Girls was way more fun. I left to go back to the campsite before they ended...

I'm so glad this is on here. The Join was a sweet way to kick off the festival. And the cloud that rolled in right when they started playing was beautiful.

Subject: don't believe the hype
I saw the Join at All Good during their late night set and I was extremely disappointed. There were too many times during their set where they were just looking at each other and had no idea what to do. Also, the drummers need to seriously step it up. Overall bad show with few moments worth listening to.

Subject: fuck the join, avoid at all costs
i decided to give the join a fair chance at all good 08, watching their whole show. little did i know of the homo-erotic suckfest that was about to ensue right before my eyes, courtesy of "the join", whoever the fuck that is. this was the most terrible set of music i have ever witnessed. if you're dumb enough to download this set of music, don't expect a tempo change the whole time.

Subject: great way to kick off All Good
This was a good high energy way to get thursday night moving. I couldn't believe how many people came to All Good early this year, and it seemed like everyone was gettin down to the Join. Thanks for the quick upload bean, you're always on top of your shit, pretty good sound quality too. Hope you caught the Mike Gordon set he ripped it up.

This Show was pretty awesome, except for some problems with the sound. The chemistry between the two bands was great and the crowd was loving it.. But who the hell was firing mortars into the crowd?

This show was just amazing. Thanks for taping this, the sound is good, makes me feel like I am still standing there!

You don't want to miss this. The New Deal, and the Bennevento Russo duo, together, for one night. It was a night to remember.
