I liked this a lot. I am a huge Dead fan but always liked the JA songs better. This show is real nice. I like that with 25 years of age, the songs are still timeless. Their presentation here is very well done. There is some feedback in parts, but the music is great and the sound is very good. They really had it together on this show. Energy is great considering the crowd is a bunch of stiff UN dignitaries. Marty's voice is great, Darby's voice is quite good. I can understand how the other reviewer got confused about Grace since it sounds quite a bit like her. Paul's voice stands out in the mix a little more than it should, but it has a real seasoned sound to it. He's still cool. This along with Stone Pony are the best shows for sure. Many of the others (aside from the Ambassor show) are not really worth the DL.

Yeah, it's not the Airplane and everyone has seen a few miles, but the spark's still there. This is a nice, no surprises show. (Well, except for Jose, below, who apparently doesn't know that this isn't Grace Slick...) Worth the download and the blanks if you were a fan...

The Starship never was the Airplane, and a dinner theater is a long way from Winterland, but this set has a strange charm that transcends most nostalgia tours, despite occasional feedback and fluctuating volume levels. The lineup unfortunately is not given, but Grace Slick still is unmistakable, even though she's lost a few of her high notes on White Rabbit. Well worth the disk space and may qualify as a collector's item.
