Subject: Transition Times
This show is really off the cuff and follows some major changes in the band. Also this was a time where many of the classic JSB instrumental tunes were penned. This performance is especially interesting as it features a fully dreadlocked Bob Deveaux (GTB) on drums and Rob McGuire on Keys. Both these guys were only with the band for a short period but provided a unique sound contribution to the band that, to my knowledge, was only ever captured through this recording.
Note that 'A Night in the Life>Thin Ice>A Night in the Life' and the Jam at the end is Creepin.

Subject: Damn!!!!
This concert was a defining moment in my life and I haven't heard these recordings of Jimmy Swift ever. 5 1/2 years later, it makes me realize that I was there to witness the start of something very great. I have seen Jimmy Swift in one form or another at least 30 times in my life, and to be quite honest, I would have to say that this recording is definitely the one to get. It shows where the band seemed to be at their best as far as playing off the vibe of the audience, and being able to express themselves genuinely different every night. I think that over the years they have decided to stick with what they have found to be tried and tested, but it is a relief to hear this recording when they were trying to figure it all out.

Subject: Track 3
Track 3 is actually an extra part of Now We Will Know They Were Here.
Good concert!

One of the sound guys for the festival was responsible for taping to DAT... pretty sure it was Peter Davison.
