Julia (2006)

Feisar (Brian Berndt) is a member of the Georgia Tech Machinima Group directed by Michael Nitsche . As in his previous machinima piece, "June," this movie uses locations from Valve's Half-Life 2 and Source maps, as well as Garry's Mod. Here too, as in the "June," the choice of music, selective use of visual and sound effects, and decision not to use spoken dialogue emphasize the possibility provided by Half-Life 2 of using facial gestures and physics for subtle emotional effect.-- HEL

"The music in "Julia" is an edited version of "Desired Constellation" by Björk, from her recent album Medúlla. Visit her site at bjork.com. I extended the song by about two minutes to fit with the video.

The font used for the title and credits is Bitstream Vera.
